NOTE: Candidates are also advised to attempt ‘MOCK TEST’, well in advance, available at the MEDHAVI APPLICATION, and become familiar with the format of the examination.
The exam will consist of 4 (four) sections, the candidate will have to complete the exam within the given time. To avert any chance of discrepancy, there shall be no back button, which means candidates will not be able to go back to previously answered/unanswered questions to change/mark the answer. Candidates need to attempt the question appearing on the screen or press the next button leaving the question unanswered. Candidate must make sure that they attempt provided questions within a given time
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The selection process for the scholarship will comprise an Online Test of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
The structure of the Examination is as follows:

FEE FOR TEST
a) A registration fee of Rs.300 (Three hundred only) for all category (UNRESERVED/OBC/SC/ST) applicants need to be paid for the online test; based on the
online test, merit will be prepared.
b) The registration fee of Rs.300 (Three hundred only) is 100% REFUNDABLE to all those candidates who score more than or equal to 35% passing marks in the scholarship exam and do not fall under any merit list.
c) Applications without the prescribed payment would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
d) PRESCRIBED FEE IS FOR THE ONLINE TEST ONLY; MERELY PAYMENT OF FEE DOES NOT ENTITLE AN APPLICANT FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP. PAYMENT ONCE PAID SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, EXCEPT AS PER THE CONDITION MENTIONED MADHAVI national scholarship scheme Advertisement No. HRDM/SKHM/04-06/2021 UNDER POINT (b) ABOVE, NOR CAN THE FEE BE HELD IN RESERVE FOR ANY OTHER EXAMINATION.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A candidate must have passed matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a board recognized by the central government or state government.
Matriculation /10th is only a minimum qualification which means candidates who have passed intermediate/12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation or any other degree/diploma, higher than matriculation/10th can apply for this scholarship.
AGE LIMIT:
The minimum age limit is 16 years and the maximum of 40 years for all category candidates
MERIT OF SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION EXPLANATION:
Total of 1238 candidates will be selected under the SWABHIMAN-2021 Scholarship Exam purely
on the basis of merit.
- Type A (686): 60% and above marks.
- Type B (309): 50% or above & less than 60% marks
- Type C (243): 40% or above & less than 50% marks

Indian History, World History, Indian Polity, Important Dates and Events, Science & Technology, Countries and Capitals, Science and innovations, World organizations, Famous Places in India, Books & Authors, Current Events of National and International Importance, History of India in
respect of Indian National Movement, Economy, Geography of India & World.
GENERAL APTITUDE
Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and decoding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, Arithmetic reasoning, Arithmetical number series, Non-verbal series, Syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Blood relations, Ranking, Distance & Direction, Mathematical Inequalities.
QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE
Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time
and Work, Trignometry, Geometry, Statistics & Probability, Algebra.
ENGLISH
Spotting Errors, Fill in the blank Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms and antonyms, Reconstruction of sentence & passage, one-word substitution, Phrase substitution, Jumbled up sentences, Double blanks in a sentence, commonly misspelled words, Comprehension passages, correction of sentences, synthesis of sentences. Candidates’ ability to understand Basic English, his basic comprehension would be tested.
